① IntroductionThe breif name of CROSCARMELLOSE SODIUM is CCMC-Na which is made insoluble and fibrous by cross-linking of sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose.? Appearance is white or white-off granular powder. It has high hygroscopicity which is?expanded?into a?clear?or?slightly?turbid?colloidal?solution?in water, insoluble in propyl alcohol、ethanol、methylbenzene、diethyl ether and most other organic solvents.
② Application：CCMC-Na is used as pharmaceutical adjuvant which is called as superdisintegrant because it has excellent disintegration,good solubility,uniform dispersion,widely application range.It is suitable for tablet and capsule especially for dispersible tablet、orally disintegrating tablet、fast-release tablet etc.
